The Future

Chadrick Thomas, born August 27, 1997, is a violinist whose passion for music began at the age of nine. From the moment he first picked up the violin, the connection was undeniable quickly becoming not just an instrument, but an extension of his voice.

His musical journey began at Oak Grove Elementary School, where a school strings program introduced him to classical training. Even at a young age, Chadrick’s dedication stood out often performing mini concerts for classmates during recess and practicing so relentlessly that he would fall asleep with his violin in hand.

Throughout his years at Henderson Middle School and Lakeside High School, he consistently held the prestigious position of Concert Master, maintaining first chair through graduation.

Early in his development, Chadrick joined Still Waters Youth Symphonia, an African American orchestra founded by David Robinson. There, he expanded beyond classical music, exploring diverse genres that would shape his evolving sound. Between 2011 and 2013, he performed extensively with Ken Ford and his Youth Symphony, appearing in concerts and charity events.

In 2013, Chadrick was featured alongside Sinfonia in a music video by Ashanti Floyd. His career continued to gain momentum when he won a violin contest hosted by Damien Escobar in December 2015, earning a signature violin. This led to multiple performances with Escobar, including appearances at St. James Live and W Atlanta Downtown in 2016.

In May 2019, Chadrick performed before a global audience of over 20,000 delegates at the Conyers Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, delivering multiple performances alongside an orchestra.

Today, Chadrick Thomas continues to grow as an artist, blending technical mastery with creative expression. His journey reflects not only dedication and discipline, but a bold vision positioning him as a dynamic force and a defining voice in the future of music.
